Okay, if these brownies don’t kill you, they will definitely make you think twice about not being in Heaven! I pulled out a few of my baking supplies today and decided to whip up a batch of “clean out the cupboard” brownies (always the best kind). The recipe we came up with is definitely to-die-for! Here’s how to make our own Death by Brownies!
Ingredients -
- 1 pkg Brownie Mix (I used Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie 10.25oz pouch)
- Ingredients to make brownie mix as directed on package
- 50 Mini-Marshmallows (or 8 lg Mashmallows, halved & then quartered)
- 10 Individually Wrapped Caramel Chews, unwrapped & quartered
Directions -
Make brownie mix as directed on the package. Stir in marshmallows and caramel chews and make sure they are well coated in the brownie mix. Pour out into a greased 9″ x 9″ pan. Bake in a preheated oven as directed on the package of brownie mix. Allow to cool slightly. Serve warm, in bite-sized portions.
These are definitely best served warm while the caramel is still melted and the marshmallows are creamy, though they are still delicious after they’ve cooled completely! Because they’re so rich, cut them into smaller serving sizes than usual and enjoy!
