Hasbro’s Classic Battleship Movie Edition Game + Kre-O Battleship Combat Chopper Review + *GIVEAWAY*

On May 18, the epic action of the classic naval combat game will unfold in theatres nationwide with the release of Universal Pictures’ Battleship, starring Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Liam Neeson and recording superstar, Rihanna.  As big fans of the Transformers movies, we are stoked to see the new Battleship movie!!

Of course, the live action doesn’t end with the film. Young naval commanders can go head-to-head with the Alien fleet in Hasbro’s Classic Battleship Movie Edition game. Players choose to command either the Navy or Alien fleet and can unleash brand new super weapon cards to destroy their opponent with attacks like those from the big screen! The game comes in a convenient carrying case, making it easy to wage your own battles at home or on the go.

I will be honest.  I never played Battleship growing up, so I was extra excited to get my hands on the new, old Classic Battleship Movie Edition and give it a whirl!!  Chris and I played every version listed in the direction the first night & had a blast!! Personally, I liked the new movie-tie-in version with the playing cards the best!  It picks up the pace of the game a bit & adds a little more of a surprise element to your play!  For those who loved the classic and newbies alike, this new version of the classic hit is sure to be a winner!

Commanding your own fleet in the Battleship game isn’t the only way to recreate your favorite action scenes from the big screen! With the KRE-O Battleship Combat Chopper set, kids can pretend to take their missions to the skies, complete with a KREON fighter pilot and KREON alien figure. Once the chopper has been constructed, kids can push the lever to spin the rotor and launch missiles at incoming alien attacks like their favorite action heroes from the movie!
